Sign up for my email list here! I promise I won’t fill up your inbox (who has time for that?!). My newsletters are a wonderful (albeit infrequent) way to find out the latest about what’s going on in my studio, new series releases, or about new goodies in the shop. When I’m feeling brave, I share about my process and what I’m working on. It’s a great little one-sided convo. ;)

All prints are archival Giclee prints, printed on acid and lignin free cotton rag paper or canvas. These fine art prints are delicate and should be handled with care, especially noting how absorbent the cotton paper is and can easily pick up unwanted oils and dirt from hands and surfaces.
Detail and accuracy to the original is very important to me. The listed sizes of prints reflect the aspect ratio of the original, as well as thought put into image quality and preserving the delicacy of details in the reproduction. Prints are created by capturing the original artwork via a professional photographer or professional scan (depending on the size), followed a proofing process on the print paper for accuracy. Please note colors vary from screen to screen and depend on your individual settings and quality of monitor. Please check colors on multiple screens and adjust your brightness settings to reflect greater accuracy if you are concerned about color variations.

I love collaborations, exhibitions and out of the box ideas for bringing more beauty and creativity into the world! Some of my favorite projects have began as a “what if” conversation, dreaming up possibilities. Contact me with your ideas - I promise no idea is too strange.

Because of the time, intensity and emotional work that goes into every commission, I take a very limited number per year. If you are interested in a commission, please contact me and we can discuss availability and timelines for these. I can also tell you that the time allowance for commissions is lengthy, once a commission is established. I want your artwork to be perfect for you and that takes time…as in months ;).

Absolutely! If you are local to north-western Washington you can make an appointment to drop by my studio. I love visitors and it gives me a great excuse to clean up my workspace. ;)

Framing can feel so inhibiting! The last thing I want is for your new, beautiful piece to sit around collecting dust while you wait to get it framed. All of my prints are created in standard, framable sizes. You can choose to leave a small area of whitespace around the print edge (my favorite look), or frame right up to the edge of the painting. You can also add a mat around the image to increase whitespace around your collection. This draws the viewers eye to the art itself while providing a visual rest around the art, much like a gallery or museum.
The best frame is the one that you follow through on! No joke. In my house I have framed artwork that ranges from Ikea to custom frame-shops to DIY floating frames. Some of my favorite frames come from Target, Ikea and West Elm. Explore those options first and if you want a custom mat that you do not see via your favorite frame, have the mat cut at a local frame shop.
If you are looking for a more customized frame option, contact your local frame shop or check out an online option like this one.

Prints
All prints are made to order by a local print-shop. Please allow 1-2 weeks for production, followed by shipping time dependent on USPS or UPS. Presently, we are experiencing unusual times and printers are working with paper and ink shortages and delivery people are encountering shipping delays. Please be patient as we all work together within these new parameters, or pleasantly surprised if this happens to be the week we don’t experience this!
Originals
Safe shipping of fine art requires careful wrapping, custom boxing, and insurance that is proving cost prohibitive at this time. Due to the increase and unreliable nature of shipping at this time, I am only offering studio pickup and local delivery of original paintings at the present moment. If you would like me to inquire about shipping original paintings, please contact me. Otherwise, please choose “Local Pick-Up” during checkout for originals and I will contact you for pick-up arrangements.

Prints 11x17 and smaller are packaged in an archival plastic sleeve and shipped and in a sturdy flat mailer. Larger prints will have a protective tissue paced on top, then are rolled in kraft paper and shipped in a rigid mailing tube.
To flatten prints that arrive in a mailing tube, please keep it wrapped in the archival papers it came with and gently place non marring, weighted objects on sides to remove bend from safe mailing.
Original pieces are double-wrapped in protective archival paper and sent in a well-fitting sturdy cardboard box.
Shipping costs are dependent on USPS and UPS and vary by size and type of mailing.

Every print order, commission and curated gift is created with care, clarity and transparency. My goal is for you to be delighted with your purchase so I take time to carefully describe my artwork. Please take time to read descriptions carefully and check colors on multiple screens if you are concerned about color variations. Unfortunately, hues and tones cannot be controlled and precise throughout individual monitors and computer settings. With this in mind, all sales are final. If you have questions about your purchase, please contact me here.

Ugh. All the legal stuff and copyright infringements are one of the reasons I stopped creating! The world of graphic design can be rough. So here it is for the painting world: I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY AND ALL ARTWORK I CREATE UNLESS THE COLLECTOR HAS PURCHASED THE FULL OR PARTIAL RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK (this is in addition to purchasing the original).
The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit and notification.

Prints sometimes look best closely reflecting the original size of painting. Increasing the size of print beyond the size of the original painting can create larger looking brushstrokes and additional texture of canvas in the appearance of the print. Exaggeration and decreasing of texture when selecting a size of print will depend on your personal preference.
